Robots have done some impressive things lately, including setting a new 100-meter sprint record. A TianGong Ultra managed to run the race in 8.64 seconds in Beijing a couple of days ago. It was part of China’s World Humanoid Robot Games. This robot managed to defend its championship, once again beating the human world record.
Getting a humanoid robot to run this fast while maintaining its balance is an amazing feat. By comparison, humans can run this same distance in 9.58 seconds.
