We hear about robots making deliveries from stores to homes all the time. A more efficient approach would be using them for last mile delivery. That’s what Boston Dynamics’ Spot is capable of delivering packages. It can navigate walkways, crouch low to the ground and deliver packages to the right home. In the future, autonomous cars will combine with robot dogs to further automate the delivery process.
The root has a conveyor payload that enables it to deliver packages gently.
