Here is a multimodal tactile fingertip with dynamic and static sensing that can detect the precise moment of initial contact to respond fast. SpikeATac relies on a capacitive taxels 16-taxel PVDF array with capacitive taxels. An accelerometer can be used inside the fingerprint for high frequency feedback. This is a bit larger than a human thumb and features a finger-shaped form factor.

SpikeATac can grasp items fast while it is also capable of handling fragile objects. As the above video shows, this robotic hand can rotate a range of objects continuously.
