Developing robots with human-like movement is easier said than done. Researchers are making progress towards that with more advanced artificial muscles. Researchers at Columbia Engineering have come up with a 3D printable synthetic soft muscle with expansion without an external compressor.
These soft muscles are up to 3 times stronger than natural muscles. The above video shows what they are all about.
