Soft Robot Finger with Active Acoustic Sensor Reading Braille

In the past few years, we have covered plenty of soft robots handling fragile items and taking on more delicate tasks. This video from RBO TU Berlin shows a soft robot finger reading braille. By using an active acoustic sensor, the robot can differentiate between complex contact patterns. The sensor can recognize Braille letters at a rate of 96%.
