Prosthetic limbs have come a long way over the years. They are getting smarter and more versatile all the time. A Swedish amputee has received a dexterous and sentient prosthetic hand with implants that extract signals from the brain for easy control and tactile sensations.

Electrodes implanted in nerves and muscles combine with titanium implants for communication. A team lead by Dr. Max Ortiz Catalan at Integrum AB is behind this implant technology. Pretty amazing if you ask us. Science Daily has more info about it here.
