Here is an autonomous robotic platform from SMP robotics that can be used to monitor industrial facilities, parking lots, chemical plants, golf courses, and everywhere in between. The S5 robot is an unmanned ground vehicle that features autonomous patrolling, obstacle avoidance, and a panoramic video surveillance system. It doesn’t make lots of noise either.
The robot has a max range of 18 miles and max speed of 8 mph. It can operate in -4 to 113F conditions. It has built-in WiFi, a flashing beacon, and a LED indicator.
