Meet the RSAW: a robot with wave producing mechanism that can traverse challenging surfaces and climb obstacles. It can reach a speed of up to 20 cm/s. This robot produces waves to move on uneven terrain or sideways.
As the above video shows, this robot can pass over cracks up to 25cm and climb obstacles up to 10cm.
