There are plenty of fancy robotic hands on the market. Not all of them can handle fragile items without breaking them though. This human-like robot hand comes with touch sensors to handle delicate objects such as eggs. It can also pick up computer chips.
This hand weighs 1.1kg and measures 22cm long. Each finger is driven by 3 motors. The above video from New Scientist shows it in action. Researchers at Ajou University are behind this robot.
