It is no secret that gamification of the rehab process can keep patients motivated to complete each session. Researchers from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) in Beer-Sheva, Israel have explored the idea of using a Tic Tac Toe playing robot to encourage rehab patients to complete real-life tasks.
While you can take a similar approach with LED light systems, the idea shows how robots can be used to make a real difference in the lives of those recovering from serious injuries.
