Here is a new robot from MIT that can find and retrieve hidden objects. It uses radio frequency and vision-based perception to find items hidden under a pile to pick them up. It has a robotic arm with a camera and RF antenna attached to its gripper.
The robot arm uses machine learning to find the object’s exact location. RFusion can work in any environment without setup. The above video shows it in action.
