Here is a robotic drone that can travel through air and water and hitch a ride by attaching to larger objects with a suction cup. Its suction cup is inspired by the remora fish. This drone measures 40 cm long and wide. When attached to larger objects, it uses only a small fraction of energy required to fly under its own power.
