Remember R1: it is a robot designed for consumer and professional applications. It stands 1.25m high, weighing 50kg. Its body can extend from 125 to 140cm while its arms extend 13cm forward to reach objects. The torso can twist sideways. R1 is also able to move in environments with its wheels.
This video shows how the R1 can be enhanced with on the fly object recognition with deep Learning and the NVIDIA Jetson Platform. As you can see, the robot is smart enough to recognize and learn to identify new objects.
