This is the Proteus ExZ1: a pipe inspection robot that can operate in dangerous environments. It is designed not to generate sparks or heat that could ignite flammable gases. This robot can navigate pipes from 6 to 24 inches. It has an elevator mechanism for camera positioning.
This robot uses a control unit with a 10-inch XGA sunlight-readable display. The ExZ1 can be used with explosion proof camera heads. It has 360-degree rotation and 135-degree pan capability.
