Meet Proficio: a robot arm with 1.05m reach and max speed of 1.5 m/s that gives people who have suffered a stroke a chance to recover faster. It uses a video gaming system to keep patients motivated as they complete their sessions. A wide variety of games suitable for Microsoft Kinect are available for this system.
