Park FX40 Robotic Atomic Force Microscope

Meet the Park Systems FX40: an autonomous atomic force microscope that takes care of probe exchange, identification, beam alignment, and other tasks by using AI. It is smart enough to image several samples of different types autonomously to speed up research.

This microscope has a dual camera system (sample & probe ID). It is smart enough to automatically replace its own tips to avoid contamination. Park FX40 uses machine learning to automatically detect whether probes are correctly positioned. You can find out more about it here.
