Here is a cool paint brush roller robot with motion made possible by a gimbal drive. The roller is not attached to any motor and allows the robot to turn on a dime. Students Masha Andreyeva and Adam Castiel at the Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation at UC Berkeley are behind this robot.
