This is Nadia: a smart humanoid robot by IHMC & Boardwalk robotics. It is powered by electric and hydraulic actuators. It has a high power to weight ratio and large range of motion. It can be programmed to operate autonomously or semi-autonomously to function in urban environments and structures.
This project is all about developing highly mobile ground robots that can function indoor environments with stairs, ladders, and debris and take on firefighting and disaster response tasks.
