Marsupial Walking-and-Flying Robotic System for Exploration

Here is a marsupial robotic system that relies on a legged robot and drone for collaborative exploration and mapping. It can overcome rough terrain and uses its drone to overcome areas not possible by any legged robot. The flying robot has 3D navigation capabilities. These two robots can localize and map together by sharing LiDAR maps and exploration paths.
