Meet the MarsCat: an AI robot pet designed to keep you company without needing to be fed or cleaned after. Elephant Robotics has already begun mass producing this robot. It can walk, run, sit, stretch, and express meows. This robot has a total of 16 servo motors with a 12-bit magnetic encoder.
MarsCat has two OLED eyes. It comes with 6 pressure sensitive/capacitive touch sensors on its head and body for interactions. It also comes with a TOF laser distance sensor and a microphone. It uses a 16DOf micro controller with the quadruped kinematics algorithm powered by a quad-core Raspberry Pi.
