The Terminator franchise has millions of fans around the world. It has all kinds of interesting robots. The T-1000 is one of the most iconic characters from the movie. As it turns out, Chinese scientists were inspired by it to create their own robot powered by liquid metal.
While the robot can’t change shape like Robert Patrick, it has a plastic wheel, a Lithium battery, and a liquid-metal droplet to move. Voltage from the battery alters the liquid metal’s center of gravity to cause the wheel to turn.
