In the past few years, we have covered plenty of cool ABB robots. This video shows how K3D uses these robots for 3D metal printing. They use a large robot with a 3D metal printhead at the end. They use lasers for melting.
The robot can print large products up to 3 x 4 x 3 meters. As the company explains, the printhead can process two metals at the same time.
