In case you haven’t been paying attention, a bunch of humanoid robots are competing at the World Humanoid Robot Games. Unitree has already won its first gold at these games. As it turned out, there was an unfortunate incident at the event. During a remote handoff, a humanoid robot hit a couple of folks who were on the track.
The robot didn’t plan to attack these guys but they were simply not paying attention. The remote handoff happened at an unfortunate time as this video shows.
