University of Houston Gets Starship Delivery Robots

😎 New DIY robot kits

Plenty of places are experimenting with the idea of using robots to deliver food and other items. The University of Houston is the latest school to test autonomous food delivery service on its campus. A fleet of 30 Starship robots can bring food to students in a matter of minutes.

Students can track the delivery in real-time. A delivery fee of $1.99 is enough to pay for these robots. They can travel 6 miles per hour and maneuver on sidewalks with their sensors, cameras, and obstacle detection system.
