Engineers and researchers are always inspired by nature to develop better robots. This particular robot by Harvard researchers is inspired by the mantis shrimp. It mimics the powerful punch of the creature. This tiny robot strikes with an acceleration equivalent to a car reaching 58mph in 4ms.
As the researchers explain, this is just a start as more feats of nature will be mimicked in the future.
