Team Hakuto is a Google Lunar XPRIZE team from Japan dedicated in building and perfecting rovers for space exploration. Visitors at the Mitsukoshi department store in Tokyo’s Nihonbashi district recently got a chance to play with a recent version of the rover inside a sand-filled dome, depicting the surface of the moon.
The moon rover was controlled using a tablet. It is still under development but people at the event got a chance to see what the final version might look like. The Japan Times has more the story.
