Robots are getting more agile and versatile all the time. In order to complete tasks like humans, they need smarter AI models. Gen-1 is a new large multimodal AI model for robots that can master physical tasks. It has a success rate of 99%, which is much higher than the previous model. For each of these results, only 1 hour of robot data was needed.
According to the official blog, this model enables robots to complete tasks up to 3x faster.
