Brain control of robots is nothing new. Researchers at the University of Minnesota have come up with a non-invasive EGG control mechanism for robot arms, allowing people to use their mind to control a robot to reach and complete tasks.
A headset is used to read brainwaves and transmit commands to to the robot arm. The above video shows how this works.
