Robots are going to get a whole lot smarter in the future with integration with ChatGPT and other AI models. The good folks at Boston Dynamics have demonstrated just that by integrating Spot with ChatGPT and other models to make a robot tour guide. This robot can answer questions from the audience as the below video shows:
To add conversation skills to Spot, Boston Dynamics used OpenAI’s ChatGPT API. A little bit of advanced prompt engineering was required for ChatGPT to control the robot.
