Plenty of researchers are working to perfect robots that can collaborate with others to get tasks done. This video from zarrouk lab shows a BIG STAR robot collaborating with a child robot (RSTAR). These robots can reach locations that neither can reach on their own. The parent robot can recharge the battery of the smaller robot.
