Learning skills from human motions is already being explored by plenty of robot makers. Researchers have now come up with an open source motion tracking approach that can track motion stably and repeatedly. BeyondMimic enables robots to learn skills such as jumping spins, sprinting and cartwheel. It can perform “diverse tasks including waypoint navigation, joystick teleoperation, and obstacle avoidance.” The below video shows this robot in action:
