Meet the A’seedbot: an autonomous tree planting robot that can plant a tree in fertile areas in deserts. Created by Mazyar Etehadi from the Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation, this robot measures 8 inches long. It has solar panels to recharge its battery during the day. It has 3D printed legs that let it crawl over sand.
The robot comes with smart sensors such as a distance sensor. The above video shows it in action.
