Robots are going to make life easier for lots of people, including wheelchair users. Take this 3D printed robotic arm. It is a wheelchair mounted solution that allows users to pick up and manipulate objects. The entire structure is 3D printed with Ultimaker 3D printers.
This version is controlled manually and does not have a feedback system. We would love to see that changed in the future though.
