3D-printed Soft Robotic Hand for Video Games

😎 New DIY robot kits

In the past few years, we have covered plenty of soft robotic hands that can grab and handle fragile items. A team of researchers from the University of Maryland have come up with a 3D printed soft robotic hand that can work a controller. It is made with integrated fluidic transistors, which enable it to play Nintendo with one pressure input.

The researchers used PolyJet 3D printing to accomplish this. In the future, this approach can be used to develop rehab devices and customizable prosthetics.
