Robot-Assisted Surgery Demonstration in London

There are already plenty of robotic surgery systems that facilitate minimally invasive surgeries. The Da Vinci Machine can be used to perform surgeries that may be difficult to do with human hands alone. This video from TIG Media demonstrates a robot-assisted surgery in London.

Professor Darzi and his assistant Shirley Martin completed  this procedure, which involved removing a human gallbladder.
